Anyone else think they might be a little alcohol dependent?

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

If I have beer in the house then I'll drink a few cans over the course of an evening, until the beer is gone. I was worried about the units so now I drink several cans of coke every night. Cos that won't drokk me up in the long run

To put a different spin on it, my girlfriend's friend died earlier this year when his car left the road and hit a tree late at night in bad weather. You just don't know what's round the corner, so you might as well live your life in a way that you're happy with.

You get through your working day without having to drink, and you're not paraletic by bedtime, so I think you're ok :) in my untrained opinion of course

The main disadvantage I find to drinking in the eve is that I can't drive, at least coca-cola can't stop me getting behind the wheel :vtec:

^^^yes, not having an evening drive is a bugger. i do have to drive back from work late when not drinking but I'm knackered by then :?

I think as a nation we are changing from a pub orientated sociality to more of the canadian idea. that being people round for a drink. I just cant get on with watching sports though :(

You won't live longer if you quit alcohol; it'll seem like it though!

Don't believe all that Gov't shit designed to make you feel bad; like moderate smoking, it's class-related statistically and not alcohol per se that does you in. Obviously Nanny won't want that admitted, publically....

So choose a classier drink!

2 cans a night of weak beer is the recommended limit

At one point I was drinking 8 pints of stella a night and getting up for work the next day, then more at weekends

Resulted in one damaged liver, 6 months without a drop over a christmas/new year period and a blood test every month

Lesson learned, Liver healed thank f00k

I still love beer, if it tasted as it does but you didn't get drunk I'd still drink it. Beck's Blue is the best non alcoholic stuff I've had, but still lacks something.

I still drink, but not if i'm working..

I'm not working tomorrow :D Cheers
