I know what you're saying. It still seems like a sound investment, even if I decide not to use the engine. As there are other things I am going to need such as gear linkages etc which I can all salvage from this car.

I was always lead to believe that the exhaust manifolds where different, with the jdm getting extra bhp from that. Don't know if that's true.

Is that compatible with my projected plans is it? What are the benefits of the a7 bottom end?

And I'll be honest with you - it's unlikely that I'd be able to afford that until the end of July. Got a lot to pay out for this month! :roll: But out of interest, how much would you be willing to let that go for? Cheers. ;)
