Don't forget that it's not about the final numbers really, if you're looking at the 200-250bhp bracket, as you say, either a Type S, or A7 engine, or an A8 with some choice mods will get you there, but an NA will drive very differently to a turbo setup.
Yes, the turbo should have more torque, but I do love the characteristics of an NA build, always on, no spooling etc, just the bloody sound of it at 8k too
Of course, your opinions may vary, just my 2p.

An NA build that will rival a turbo?

What I said was for comparison, ie comparing it to a turbo setup.

:D The point I was trying to get over was that forced induction will give more power for less money. NA is the expensive way of doing it.

I also think that time to spool isnt really a problem with the size of turbo you will be using on a f22 unless its big big power your after they will be spooled by 2500 rpm and give a good solid boost to redline this is making food for thought on my part hmmm :?
I hit the limiter in my h23 vtec still didn't kick in

All fair.
It comes down to taste really. For me personally, the Prelude and a lot of Hondas for that matter are about a gem of an NA engine, that revs high and produces well above average power for it size.
I wanted to keep that ethic, and just capitalise on it. I'm not against turbos at all, to me going NA just felt a bit more in keeping with the car and 'cohesive' to the drive, if that makes any sense at all?! :?

Yeh I totally get what you mean they have different power deliveries and the extra torque from a turbo can cause understeer on fwd set ups when trying to put power down exiting corners everything is personal choice in this game or we would all be building the same car
