Raging fuming. PS3 Failed. PC FAN EXPERTS!

Post by RattyMcClelland » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:50 pm

:(

Iv been playing "The Last Of Us" solid since yesterday. After 3 hours today the controller stopped responding and i couldnt move. Eventually the software jacked in and the PS3 beeped 3 times and shut down.
After reboot and getting the the home screen it again shuts down and 3 beeps.
After a hard reset it detects a HDMI source and switches and shuts down with 3 beeps.

And now it wont even turn on. Constant 3 beeps and the YLOD.

Its an original 60BG model. Ticking time bomb apparently

:x

Funny thing is i cleaned it all out today with my compressor. Blew out all the dust. It was like a granny dusty parts.

Best open it up and heatgun the jobby out of it.

I was to finish this game, buy and finish Bioshock Infinte and then GT6 before i plunge into a PS4.

Crap luck, Ratty. Hope the re-flow works.

Without wishing to twist the knife, is Last of Us as good as suggested?

Have you played the Uncharted series? (if not then dies a slow death)

Its very similar to uncharted. Iv fact.

Its uncharted but with different characters, excellent story and enviroment.
Tense all the way through and nicely paced.
Its basically another top seller from crash banicoot people.
I bought the new tomb raider and got board pretty quick. Same with Arkham city but last of us i cant put it down. Too addicted.

Don't be silly, it's all about the Dreamcast. You've not lived till you've sampled the delights of Sega's swansong.
