Indeed, ergo 'A' is a number.

I'm really worried that Donald's going to find this thread in a minute :?

Oh, and the answer is none... I'll explain...

Numbers are an abstract concept, so yes they do exist (you could argue).... but actually because all numbers have a base, and any number can be a base, then the relationship of those bases is such that any number can be a fragment of any other number or a fragment of any other base system. As such no number has any meaning in itself, or at least only as one of an infinite number of numbers and bases. But as those infinites can relate to each other in infinite ways too, effectively our abstract concept in itself has no anchor point or meaning at all, and so effectively no number really exists.

(and apologies but I'm off to bed early now)

The video says otherwise. Also, any thoughts on cDonalds theorem?

Silly billy. In your example, 0 to 9 are not numbers, they are numerals. Using the word 'number' to mean 'numeral' is a potentially confusing, but widespread colloquialism.
A number (one or more) of numerals make up a number. The possible number of numbers is unlimited.
Note that infinity is not a number.
