WANTED - Mint Prelude, 2k spend limit

That's right I'm on the search for my second lude. Been 3 years without one and miss it terribly.

So. The limit is 2k, which is actually quite a lot in prelude town.
I am only interested in 4th and 5th gens, my favourite being a type s, then a red top motegi... But a mint 4th gen always makes me weak at the knees too lol.

What do you guys think of it?

As I said, 2k should get a lot of prelude so I am not rushing into anything, more like waiting for the right one.

What would you want from a lude for 2k?

it looks mint and has some nice extras

that interior is sexy, and very rare in that colour

Anybody think 2k can get you a type s? Don't come up that often but could be worth waiting for.?

Never saw it in the flesh but the guy sent me a pretty honest video and it seemed in reasonable condition, had been stood a while so there was quite a lot of water vapour from the exhaust and it needed new belts I think. Had a slight engine chirp too, but the video the guy sent me has been taken down now. Small rust patch on bonnet and just starting on the arches as well I think.

Email correspondence and an old MOT number so you can check the MOT history online -

none other rust on the car but slight paint off the back end of the kit near the exsausht, i will send pic tomorrow,
slight fading of the front light lenses
slight flaking on all 4 wheels on the silver, one indicated on the pic
no other mods
no warning lights, all elecs work but air con needs filling, just blows cold not ice cold
no gear problems at all
cold start no probs, i used to use it each morning for work, starts first time, when warm she flys.
had new pads but i have never done discs in my ownership, no water pump change in my time owned, timing belt i will have to check under the hood tomorrow as its dark and has a cover over the car4

If I was going to spend 2k I'd either want an absolutely sorted redtop or yeah, add a little more and sit on it until a Type S came up.

Not a red top but is cheap with fhsh. Looks clean and theyve said they don't refuse a sensible cash offer. So could get for 900 quid.

But it's still not a redtop is it? Lol. Need to just be patient.
