Yeah I dunno

I just assumed it was that. Perhaps a connection with the canister thing. Only happens very rarely and I've aimed for bumps to try replicate but no.

Either way not too bothered, not enough to fully hijack this thread so back to S300 chat

Another question - Are your knock sensors wired up and in use? @Lude-Dude did you get a knock sensor installed on your H22a5 block?

Sweet that is what I wanted to hear. Looking over my new engine I can see that the knock sensor is there but it has snapped in half. The plug on the loom does not have the other half of the sensor on it so thought it was more than likely that PAW didn't bother replacing it as it wasn't needed for the tune. If it had snapped whilst in my possession I would see the other half of the sensor.

I think the full throttle shift requires the clutch switch to be active, and wired into the ecu. I found out that the brake switch and clutch switch is not wired to the ecu for UKDM but possibly is for JDM.

Surely it must be otherwise how would the cruise control be switched off during an emergency brake?

Erm, I think the switches must exist (like you said) but are probably wired to the cruise control ecu only.

OBD1 ecu pinout shows only BK/SW D2 (Brake Switch) which when datalogged on my Neptune RTP does not function, nor does the Radiator switch (A12/FANC) which I know does work on US and probably JDM ecus(you can use this to control when the rad fan comes on which would be useful). I think some of these switches are not wired to the ecu for some markets (i.e. UK) at least that is my theory backed up by feedback from hrtuning.com

The clutch switch does not seem to exist on the pinout, so needs to be wired as another input.

I have the same FTS feature on Neptune, but cant make it work without the clutch input.

I did not think of that, I dont have CC in my BB4. I will have a look when I take the dash out again.

Done a bit more research and the Obd1 clutch input if it exists is on B7

I looked last night and I don't have a clutch pedal sensor

I just have an adjustment bolt

So no full throttle shift for me then (at the moment anyway)
