Vacuum hoses wrong!!!!!!

Ok i have brought some new yellow hoses to replace worn ones an it has made lude run smoother but when changing them i cant seem to work out why i have a mini air breather or wat its connected to so do i need it as wen i take it off theres no suction plus does any one have any pics of theres as to where hoses shud be as there is a electric plug connected to it all

I get the feeling its been messed with but cant work out wat the box with the plug on does anyone got any pics of theres as my idle has always been 500 but never stalls but wen u take some of these vacuum pipes of it raises to 850 ish again

The EVAP system has something to so with allowing fuel vapours to enter the intake manifold, but Im not really up to speed with it. I think all H22's should have the EVAP purge valve, yours is deffo not in the normal attached location.

If you have a look at the 4th or 5th gen service manuals it shows the vacuum hose configuration diagrams.

Yup in the Wiki-Lude under Honda Service Manuals. The 4th gen one is a bit crap as the H22 bits are spread over some supplements. Here is the 4G H22 bit http://media.honda.co.uk/car/owner/medi ... 2ss020.pdf

Definitely been tinkered with, that should not be there. Can you get some better pics of where the vac lines go. Also is that a plug beneath it?

Yeah its got mini air filter on top outlet then two more coming out the black box with a plug coming from near injectors ill try get better pics later after work :)
