Ok the day started for me at 4.20 got ready and drove up in the rain, no heaters mean I have to keep windows open or it steams up so on arrival the car had turned into a swimming pool ha.

I had already checked out the weather for case and expected it to be dry at about 12, dan and his mates went out about 9ish and all came back saying how slippy it was so I patiently waited through the rain spells and it did indeed clear up.

Perfect, so I took dan out and did this

The video ends just as we got black flagged. Not knowing what for I cruised back to the pits and got told the car seems loud please do a sound rest again.... Castle combe limit is 100db, I'd already done a 99db test but this was something else. 108.9db and I was banned from the track haha, through the day I did toy with the idea of buying a stick on silencer but even they won't drop 9db so I was basically screwed :( day over for me.

I then got a ride In dans car and remembered the app I'd bought following merlins advice.

Boys got some good skills out there and even serious brake vibrations don't put him off lol, still had a great time on the day and dans probably been dreaming up his wish list of bits already ;)

My pictures haven't come out very well but here's dan waiting to go out

I did buy the cd from the pro guy so I'll try gettin a couple of them up.

It's a evo 4 hks exhaust I chopped up to fit, goes 2.5/3'

I was wearing ear plugs in the way home and my ears were still ringing when I got in ha.

Next plan is to remove the 4 3/4 tip and fit a jetex centre silencer in place of the hks one :(

Fancy making an exhaust system for the Type-S.. ;)

I've still got your De-cat to fit. I tried to tackle on getting the old catalytic convertor off but the bolts were rusty..

Ha nah it's ok mate, it took me long enough doin my own and run out of flanges for preludes. The hks uses really nice thick quality flanges so no worries about it leaking.

Dan only made a pitiful 87db I think haha
