I thought this club was for Prelude enthusiasts...Nik_L wrote:Cracking engine's, but other than that they don't have alot going for them.
Anyway I totally disagree with that statement (as I imagine most on here will), they have loads going for them...
Sleek sporty head-turning looks, comfortable bucket seats, 4ws (on some), and very easy to work on to name just a few things.
I'd take my prelude over most of the bum droppings on the roads today!

theres a way to look at it civics and tegs are driven by people who are happy as followers they even want them all in the one colour if possible
ludes are driven by individuals you don't see many ludes following the same formula in colour or build

I had a type r ep3, got a huge loan for it and now I've got my lude. I wish I had never got that bloody civic. I wish I had got my lude from the start. Going back to the lude was the best choice. God knows why they are so cheap, hopefully in 3 years time all the 92 ludes will go up in price due to being "classics"

Ive nothing against Prelude's (apart from the 4th gen, never been a fan) but lets face it, none of them have ever set any records nor have they been made famous for anything.
Even Honda's in general, the arse falls out most of them at some point and only a few hold a premium.
DC2 - Best handling FWD car at 1 point, and to this day, still regarded as this by many.
EK9 - The original Civic Type R with its high hp 1600cc engine, which i think was the highest bhp per litre car at 1 point. Also being JDM only has probably had something to do with its high price tag.
NSX - Honda's supercar.
Those are the only 3 that stand out for me, where the prices havn't bottomed out like the others.
