That is good to hear. Did they tell you what gerbox fluid to use in it?

Is it just a track toy or are you going to do some thing with it?

i would imagine something like castrol b373 lsd oil is what you need

http://www.broughtonlubricants.co.uk/pr ... b-373.aspx we run this in the lsd dif in the escorts aswell as using it as a good quality oil in the gearbox so should suit a fwd plated dif well.

I've got receipts with the name of the oil
to use - I'll dig them out.

Just track days until I get a feel for the
car. Depends on finances as well :)

Awesome! I take it that will have friction modifier in it? Nothing else needed to make it work with the Kaaz clutch pack diff? Pour it in and job done? It is mineral based so that is what the Kaaz apparently likes. The only isssue may be its viscosity :? Any ideas what it is?

Fixed the exhaust fume problem.
The perspex boot lid had a big gap all the
way round :shock:

@Merlin My paperwork says Kaaz
Lsd oil, 1 litre Amsoil synthetic MTF, &
Redline lsd friction modifier (additive).

Thanks for that vtectom. In the end I went with the same as you except using Fuchs Silkolene BOA 80w-90 gearbox / LSD fluid instead of the Kaaz oil. Kazz oil is expensive!
