If it helps, my lude has a flat battery currently and the dash and electrics are freaking out big time. It worked fine before the battery went flat, and behaves itself once the battery is swapped for a good one. For example, earlier with the key on the accessory position all the dash lit up bar the fuel and temperature gauge. Then cranking it set the alarm off and sent the dash frenzied hooked up my jump battery and it was fine again
Oh thanks that is encouraging. Maybe the battery will solve it in which case I shall be booking an MOT sooner than I'd thought!
My alarm has been going nuts and Probably annoying the neighbours. I had to resort to turning the box under the bonnet off with the special key as it wouldn't disarm.
Fingers crossed then. I'm theory the car was fine last time I drove it and has only been sat in the garage hence the confusion on what's gone wrong.
Alarm going nuts is classic battery on the way out symptoms. Mine started to go off randomly etc when the battery was heading south. BTW, new batt from Honda is usually less expensive than you think - mine was £40

It's true, this happened to mine:
So I bought these for about £5 from eBay - ceramic plugs so won't melt again:
My headlights were doing all kind of funny things with the melted plugs on. And yes, if you have a real fast flashing indicator then the chances are one of your indicator bulbs has gone somewhere along the line.
Thanks for that. Think my plugs are ok, aside from some dirt they look like new and even have the original grease on the connectors!
Spoke to euro car parts earlier they are getting me an upgraded battery In for tomorrow afternoon so I can swap it over. Hopefully that may solve it. If not ill check bulbs again. Did check before and needed a new headlight bulb but ill go over them all and the fuses again before the multimeter comes out again!!
