I need to replace both for the MOT.

Are there specific ones for the Prelude, or are they universal?

originals are proper hard wear gaitors and will lasts years, you can get universal one, but they are soft and often dont last long.

i put universal on mine car for last mot and it last only few months

I agree with this ^ The generic ones do not last long at all in comparison to the OEM gaitors.

Yeah man, unless you can find them on the bay. They're the right size for a lude cv joint, the generic ones are not - which is maybe why they fail quicker.

I know Dave (JDM-BB4) has 1 OEM gaitor kit for a 4G. I'd ask him for it (and what the code on it is).

Ah poo. Right, gimme a sec, I'll try my secret part number finding system.

[edit] 44018-S30-C01 - Honda want £63 quid though, time to shop around I think ...
