strange electronic boxes in the boot - please help

Post by funkmasterjay » Sat Mar 10, 2012 10:48 pm

Hi all.

As I was replacing my OEM rear speakers for Infinity 6 x 9s I noticed there were 2 boxes. I removed them and all still works well.

Here they are, if someone can tell me what they are. They have TDK stamped on them. If you are an 80's keek like me, you would know TDK were known for their audio and video tapes.

IIRC, and I may be wrong, these relate in some way to your rear screen demister? Sure a 5G person will be along shortly to clarify.

Yep, googled it. They're your window demisters - put them back!

Yep thats the rear window demister coil. Without it you wont be able to remove the steamy aftermath of back seat dogging.
