I personally don't have experience with torque converter failure but if it work's then id imagine it would be ok.

TBH i didnt look at the box that closely and not sure if it was there id know what im looking at. not really deblt with an auto box before

luckly my mate is given me a hand with the swap in exchange for me find a S2 escort rs turbo rad for him

Torque convertor u will see in the housing big round and heavy !
It fitson the shaft of the gearbox

inside the bellhousing was just the shaft if i remember right

I never heard of torque converter faults before

It wasn't included as it is still attached to the engine which is for sale
Got 2 distributors Aswell...

not been done just mate as i got a hole in my rad which aint going to be helping ATF fluid temps so i have held of because i didnt want to run the risk of cooking the new box BUT yesterday my new rad turned up ( many thanks @gordonlear ) so tomorrow morning with the help from a friend i will be replacing both the rad and gearbox
