My bro in laws car had exactly same issue. Fixed both. The bushes were about £4 each....

Hi all, well I took the Prelude out for a run over the weekend and very, very sad to report that now it's worse than ever. The noise is now coming from both bloody sides!
Sod it, I've been trawling t'internet and after a recommendation I've been trying to track down an entire set of bushes, (a kit apparently) from a company called Super Pro.
I've been on their site - they're an Aussie outfit - and they do have a dealer in Malaysia. Anyway, I called them this morning to enquire and they promised to get back to me later on today to see if either they've got the stock or they can get them for me.
I'm also hedging my bets in case this Malaysian outfit can't supply, by enquiring from a company in the UK as well. I've tracked down a stockist of Super Pro bushes in Leeds called Larkspeed.
As I'm coming back to Blighty for Christmas (the folks live in Halifax) I thought if all else fails, I can toddle over there and sort it out, face to face. I know it's a long-ish wait till Christmas and I'll be a gibbering wreck having to put up with the noise from now till then but if this Larkspeed mob can sort me out with the kit then it'll be worth the wait.
Two questions then Gentlemen, are/is Super Pro the ones to have and anyone ever dealt with Larkspeed?
Thanks once again in advance, regards, Simon.

If all else fails, fit a massive ICE install then you'll never hear anything else ever again :)

Seriously though, I hope you get this sorted mate. As has been said before, give everything a good shake with someone else underneath watching for movement. If it's as bad as you say it is then the offending part should easily be spotted.

I think that's a massive and quite possible, long way around sorting the knock tbh. Shake everything and get underneath it. As said, if its that bad then you will find it.

bb1boy/the busofwoe - that's just the solution my mechanic now reckons I should use! His comment on Saturday when he delivered it was "just keep the volume high on the CD!"
Anyway, I'm afraid he and I had a bit of a fall out about all this and by chance I was chatting to a guy that I know who runs a shipping agency a couple of doors down from me. He's quite a car nut (drives a GT-R and an Accord 3.6) and after hearing my tales of woe has suggested a trip with him to see his guy.
Well, I've got nowt to lose (other than my sanity!) so I'll be popping over today and let's see what we can do.
I will definitely ask him to do the shake/knock test and see if HE can get to the bottom of it.
As ever, thanks so much for your help. I'll let you know how I get on.
