My mechanic will have quick look for me anyways he's familt so should do me good deal n hopefully get it sorted and can report back!

Yeh totally agree! Fair point, god you lot are so friendly! Don't see this kind of guidance on french car forums. In that case check clutch reservoir for fluid, then check masters cylinder situated on firewall/engine bay below reservoir leaking around mounting point (gravity), check/ remove slave cylinder located top of gearbox/ remove rubber gaitor check for dirt ingress remove end cap/ cylinder and check seal and replace. Had too many beers and don't have pics on photo bucket of said cylinders but that's first steps of route cause analysis
