At least I know it technically goes in there...

I thought it was the TBs that were variable in series. Might be wrong but might save a lot of searching for answers  @crunchyadams82

Lol. Cheers Donald. Already did a lot of searching!

But the newer IM's have 'Pro Series' printed on the top don't they. So this one must be quite a dated model. I was just wondering if there was any difference in spec? And if so, are there any modifications I can do to it, to make it perform better?

You know what I mean?

And, I might add, in light of the fact I need to get a gasket to suit, will that differ in any way between the newer & older models. Don't want to get the wrong one innit. ;)

I think phil means the clearance from the intake mani on the firewall, the 4th gen may have trouble with this I'm not sure

Yeah, fair point. Don't know yet. Had planned on a standard build initially, but might do ATR cams, Skunk2 IM, Skunk2 TB, & Spoon copy chip from Rob now. And either way, a custom straight through exhaust from Solid Fabrications. So I think a bit of tweaking to the IM (if applicable) would be ok. ;)
