You must have brushed over this bit QUOTE "Even the material used in the inlet manifold was changed to a more fine, granular one in order to make it more smooth. "
Anyway Im selling throttle body, not an intake manifold

No the intake manifold is the same. That isnt an official Honda page so i think the some of the info is a bit blarr. I have 2 intake manifolds in my garage. One is off my old f20a4 4th Gen Prelude and the other is off my old Type S engine. They are the same in everyway. ;)
The 62mm throttle body will bolt right on and use the OEM throttle body gaskets. It will give a slight increase in throttle response.

The 99-01 UK H22A8 Preludes have 62mm TB whereas the 97-98 A5 motor has 60mm, so anyone with the 185bhp lump would benefit from this.

This is correct. I fitted the 99-01 62mm throttle body to my H22A5, but that was mainly as the 2mm difference means the Type S air intake doesn't seal properly on the 60mm 97-99 throttle body. Correctly sized throttle body and Type S air intake definitely made a difference, plus the intake noise is pretty awesome :)
