Well after some slamming into first and second for a while, then a bit of forcing into reverse, i now have reverse back again.
It still doesnt feel right though, like its still hard to get in and it feels like the stick is only going 3/4 of the way in. when i first got it to reverse it would slip out if i didnt hold the stick, but seems to be ok now.
Also it was getting stuck in reverse after i had used it and really had to hammer the stick to get it out, but again that seems to be improving.
The other gears feel like they are popping into place a bit more now, not grinding or anything nasty, just sort of popping.
Its always done it, i figured it was just the way it was ment to be, but feels like a louder pop now.
Will keep the thread updated over the next few days and i guess i will put out the feelers for a replacement gearbox just incase. but fingers crossed it will just get better with time like a lot of people say it does
