What radiator should I get?
Ok, so I'm gathering parts for the H22 manual conversion on my Gen3, and one of the things I'm going to be needing is a radiator to suit.
But what should I be getting?
Points to consider;
1. Gen 3 chassis, H22 engine
2. I will be having an aircon delete
3. Potential space issues?
4. Fitting adequate fans
I'm thinking a slimline version will be the way to go, but really have no idea what I'm looking for here.
Anybody got any ideas?

EVERYTHING is on there. There must be over 20 h22 conversions on there. Some even turbo'd and supercharged h22 3rd gens.

Hello mate, theoretically at the end of March; when the work is being carried out I will have my current rad going spare. However I don't know if it would be the exact same fitment as yours, and I couldn't guarantee it's condition or potential lifespan. Although there are plenty of companies that can recondition radiators to make them like new again.prelude91 wrote:Hi Crunchy, does that mean you have a 3g auto b20a7 rad going spare that I may have from you, i'm still struggling to source one?
But we are talking some months away, even if it is the correct fitment.

Yeah, I struggle to navigate that website though Ratty, & always seem to spend ages trying to find what I'm looking for, and never usually find it.RattyMcClelland wrote:http://www.Preludepower.com

Guess I'll just have to get used to it.

Is there any reason not to use the current radiator?

That's what I want to find out. Will there be any space issues? Will it & the fans be adequate? Those are the only relevant questions I think.indigolemon wrote:Is there any reason not to use the current radiator?

Have you considered a B Series engine. B16,18 or 20.

Thanks Ratty.
Yeah, I had considered very strongly a B18 conversion, but decided against it because I didn't think it would truly be a Lude if not an H22. Plus, people on here have a vast knowledge of H22's, the maintenance thereof, & where to source parts.
And I've kind of committed now.
But nevermind, I'm sure it will work out just fine.
Thanks for the links. You're a gentleman.
I'll get reading..
