I need a slightly higher idle for two reasons; the car actually might stall with anything lower due to the fruity cams etc., and the slightly higher idle improves oil flow rate for cooling purposes when I come off track and the car is cooling down.
Oil pressure at idle may be higher in my engine due to its mods. For example when you remove the balance shafts and replace them with the kaizenspeed balance shaft removal kit, oil pressure is reportedly increased.
