Liquid Gasket? SUpercharger wont seal

Post by RattyMcClelland » Sun Nov 10, 2013 4:05 pm

Guys iv had my supercharger off 3 times now trying to get this muffin thing to seal. But its just has vacuum leak after vacuum leak everytime.

Iv used the one provided and even made my own with thicker klingersil gasket material at 3mm thick. But all i can think of now is to use liquid gasket on every mating surface.

Any experience with good liquid gasket.

Sorry it's being so much trouble matey, which face is give you the problem? I would use a normal gasket ( I can prob send you one) and then coat it both sides with some kind of gasket sealant.

I could make one from rubber but I'd worry it may come loose as your not tightening against anything.

I use one that comes in a pressurised metal can with a nozzle that's part of the dispenser that you twist a quarter of a turn to open then press a metal lever that squirts it out. I cant for the life of me think what its called and its about £15 can but its fecking good stuff.
