Dipping Idle & Pickup Hesitation
Word up boys,
got a real nagging problem with my H22 as it's ruining the drivability of my freshly converted EJ-H22 civic.
Basically the 2 main issues are:
1. Idle dipping on deceleration to 600rpm, IACV can't catch revs in time...feels a little slow to react but can't be sure. i've got poly mounts so I feel this soooo much more!
2. Minor hesitation as revs initially blipped, generally have to blip throttle everytime i pull off regardless.
I'm pretty sure both these issues are connected, I do get a little bit of an idle hunt but nothing major.
I've checked for the most common things (vacuum leak & coolant air pocket) and I'm 99% sure this isn't the case.
dizzy, plugs, arm, coil are all new
timing is spot on
idle has been increased slightly due to TSB regarding oil pressure @ low rpm's
going to do some more checks today but has anyone got any quick ideas??
