H22A7 in BB1

Post by Monceris » Tue Nov 19, 2013 10:09 am

Hello,

Very soon I will get rebuild H22A7 and I will put it in my BB1 lude.

As A7 is OBDII I will use my old distributor and fuel injectors from H22A2 as they are OBD1.

One question:
As I know, if someone is doing ATR intake manifold swap on prelude, it is require to modify ATR manifold.
If I will use ATR manifold on A7 head with OBD1 injectors. Does it require to do some kind of modification?
Also which fuel rail shall I use, from ATR or from prelude?

Thanks for your comments.

I think the best way is to use the Prelude fuel rail with an adapter. Also you will need an IACV adapter plate.

You can get these parts from Rosko Racing in the US https://www.roskoracing.com/cgi-bin/com ... egory=AA05

Is there is a fitment issue with an ATR manifold in a 4g against the firewall?

Not that I am aware of. My one fits with loads of room to spare.
