From the horses mouth as it were:

This is the oil viscosity chart, from the BA2 supplement of the 2nd gen service manual, for the B20A1 engine. for UK ambient temps the safest bet looks to be 10w40 if you go by what Honda are saying.

Going by the chart, 10-40 seems to cover the largest temp range, 15-40 next, at the end of the day, these engines are well known for longevity, regular oil changes not- withstanding, so the basics for engine life remain the same: regular oil and filter changes, and no over-revving when cold.

Awesome thanks for the help guys :D haha I forgot about the service book !
Ok il keep with the 10-40 and see what brand turns up!

Well it's not that I don't trust kwikfit stuff, I just know that they prefer price over quality :/ so I assumed the oil would be the same situation haha but of others have used titan oil then so will I :)

Cheers

It's all turned up, tripple QX premium 10-40 semi syn, guess that will have to do lol. Got a mikayo oil filter (it's quite big lol) and Bosch super 4's which after reading another thread not sure whether to use them or not.

Don't think I'd use the Super4's - but the QX oil should be fine!
