I seem to call all my cars now 'the pipe'.
Sad reason really, i got some stickers from my ISP who were all about 'the pipe' (the internet pipe that is). I stuck it on a car, and the name has stuck ever since. Ive had 2 more cars since then, and it still gets called 'the pipe'
random but there you go...

I name most of my vehicles, but not all. It sounds sad, but they have to earn their name, they can't just be given one.
My old BB4 was called Katt, the Norwegian spelling of cat, as it had been written off 4 times, and was still going strong, and a Norwegian friend of mine said that it was like a cat with 9 lives, and the name stuck.
My old '72 Camaro was called Sh*tstorm, as whenever I took my mate out in it, he would always comment saying that putting the accelerator all the way down was like opening a sh*tstorm of trouble (it broke the dyno at nearly 1500hp!! and was built just to do a 1/4 mile drag race as fast as possible!)
My Kangoo was called Betty, after a friend's stage name of Betty Curse, as the damn thing was cursed, and it was an old people's car, so Betty suited it.
My Volvo 850 was called the Ovlov (cos of Kat / Fweaky G calling it the Ovlov all the time), but was also called the Volvrat as it was a ratty Volvo.
The Volvo 940 was called Volvrat II, as it was the second ratty Volvo, but also had the name Zippy Lea as the reg was R412YKK, YKK being the zip company, 4/12 being an ex's date of birth, and her middle name was Lea, and I knew it'd really annoy her when mutual friends told her that
The Holden was called Bruce as it was Australian, and my mates had already named it Bruce when they owned it.
The Aerodeck is called Marvin, as it looks like Marvin the paranoid android with it's square flip up lights.
The Diversion trike is called Sid, as the side of the engine looks like Sid the sloth from Ice Age.
My Mustang is called Tilly, after Black Tilly, the car owned by Uncle Jesse from The Dukes of Hazzard, as my Mustang has the same features in it that a moonshiner would have in their cars for concealing contraband booze.
The Virago trike is called Kaede, the Japanese word for maple, as it's a Japanese bike that was imported from Canada.

I don't name my cars, they have sentimental value to me but they're still just 'things'
my A4 was always just called the Audi, and I call my Honda's and VW by their model names. I'm kind of drokked now though as I have 2 Accords and 2 Preludes and have no way of differentiating between them in conversations other than stating the colour - this is to non car people of course, on here I can at least include the generation
My gf names her cars though - the Fiesta, Picanto and Xsara were all named. All this has achieved is making her upset when we sell them
she's not named the Civic yet but it's only a matter of time... I vote for calling it the silver slug if we have to name it
