In the uk yellow lights are within the law....either yellow or white....any lights with a blue tinge are illegal ;)

MOT rules and regulations state:

1.2: Headlights
A pair of headlights must: emit light of substantially the same colour and intensity. emit a steady colour of either white or yellow. be visible from a reasonable distance.

Yellow bulbs arrived and fitted
The visibility isn't as good through town but hey that's what street lights are for
However on an unlit street or on the back roads they are better
They show up more objects and makes everything stand out more

A Question then, My Soarer has 5 small lights each side that are blue above the side lights that come on with them, are they illegal it has never failed an MOT because of it?
I have kleptomania,
But when it gets bad,
I take something for it.

i would imagine so mate....im sure blue lights are for emergency services only....depends how blue though they may still be considered white
i remember reading about it before when i was putting the spotlights under my civic bumper....you were allowed white/yellow front, amber or red at the sides and red at the rear any other lights of a different colour are illegal to have on when driving
would need to read up on it again
