Japspeed manifold (extended to fit H22a8)

The car had never been driven with this fitted only started

why is a h22a8 any diffeent :?:
i thought all 4th and 5th h22 mani and downpipe were the same :?:

they only changed from the cat back ;)

maybe some newbies on here wanting a s/s mani that will want this but wont be able too ;)

No they're different, unfortunately. Tempting to get this seeing as Honda will want half of my colon for a replacement, but AFAIK Japspeed are same spec as OEM just stainless? ATM my mani and downpipe are fine, it's the rest that's dogshit. :lol:

If I remember rightly they quote them giving a power increase, it's definitely not the same as a replacement original part, probably not much of a power increase though.

I could potentially be selling my lude, I'm not at all happy about the idea as I've had it four years + and it is my pride and joy and will regret it i know but I have soo much money held up in parts and I need to spend a lot more to get my lude where I want it to go :/ this is mainly to gauge interest really.

I know Christmas I round the corner nod everyone is short of cash but it maybe some months before I actually sell it at all


Here is my tasty list of parts I have been burrowing away and been enjoying

M2b4 LSD gearbox £250

Magnecor ignition leads 8.5mm red £60

Carbon fibre bonnet with aero catches £330

Carbon fibre interior trim center console, gear gaiter surround, and door switch surrounds in good conditions, the door switchs have some wear though £120

17" white volkrays TE37 £700

White faced defi gauges oil temp, oil pressure, water temp and turbo boost gauge with sandwich plate and all sensors £450

Hondata s300 fitted to 1994 civic ecu with harness £450

(Forgotten make and weight of lightweight fly wheel but I paid for it) unused same price £180

Spal radiator fan £60 new unused

Alloy race radiator with fan. thicker then standard rad, polished

H- tune traction bar £250

H-tune poly engine mounts £250

V2 AEM induction £150 cone filter only done 1700 miles

Genuine hytech mani from America £350

Unknown brand exhaust, 5-6" tip nice deep sound, sounds awesome in vtec 2.25" bore £70

New goodridge braided brake lines £55

New Hel braided red silicone coated brake lines £55

Type R manifold £130

Type R from callipers and carriers comes with recondition kit pots and seals £250

Skunk2 70mm throttle body £120

Skunk2 tuner springs £150

Crower stage 2 cam shafts more aggressive then type s cams higher lift and longer duration £200

Type s strut brace £70

5th gen shocks fitted with new (at the time) type s top mounts and 40mm eibach lowering springs £250

Blue anodized adjustable cam gears £65

Full motegi kit in red and some bits have been rubbed down a tad, need Tlc. Bonnet spoiler, side skirts front and rear lip. £215

Have a second front lip in black £60

Red silicone coolant pipes mishimoto top rad pipe has a red anodized water temp pip fitted to it in the middle £60

I am sure I have some more bits and some details are missing as I'm doing this all from memory.
