Got this done as was explain on here it was the white plastic switch thing...68 quid job done
Now the problem....in my excitement to test the car out.... I reversed over the plastic steering surround that I placed on the garage floor ....
so im looking for the upper and lower plastic steering surround parts...i'll put this in the wanted section too

I Had the same problem with mine about two years ago. Honda had already done the recall on mine twice and refused again. I was a little narked at that so I decided to fix it myself.
I opened it up to find this.

I cleaned the contacts and then scuffed them up, then veneered a thin layer of solder on.

I filed them flat then emmary clothed them smooth, oiled it back up and it's been over 2 years now without a problem.
Hope that helps anyone that doesn't want to pay the £68.
