I put some super 4's in my bb9 years ago and it ran fine. But as mentioned, they are no good for the 2.2's. Not sure about the 2.3's though :?:

That may not be the best price..I just searched quickly. ;)
They will do. Cheers again Crunchy.

And platinum.

Again, not necessarily the best price..just a quick search. But gives you a rough idea of the price difference.

Some may disagree, but there is no real noticeable difference in performance between the two types. The only difference is that Platinum's will last significantly longer.

In fact, @RattyMcClelland may agree that for just caning it around, or a track slag, coppers or Iridiums may actually give better performance than the Platinum's.. :worms:

And Iridium.

The middle ground in terms of price.

Tbh, no matter what anybody (including myself) says on here, you won't go wrong with any of these three plug types. Your car will still run superbly. It just depends on how much you want to spend. ;)

Hope that helps.

Oh, and just to throw a curve-ball in there..

These are the plugs I will be purchasing at the end of the month for use in my upcoming H22 conversion.

Nology Silver Spark Plugs

They are an unknown quantity, as nobody else (to my knowledge) has tried them.

But Nology make great ignition leads, so I figured I'd give them a go. :)

And you never know..I might discover something special. If not, it's an easy swap out for some NGK's. 8-)

Had bosch super4s in my bb4 for about a year or so. No issues whatsoever with them. I eventually replaced them with ngk iridiem, and noticed no difference at all.

I fitted Super4's and my car ran like crap. Swapped in some Denso TT plugs and it's been fine since - they were a whopping £20 for 4, so am just swapping them every second oil change 8-)

For those local enough, Martin at Swaythling normally has a good selection of NGK's in stock.
