Again, not necessarily the best price..just a quick search. But gives you a rough idea of the price difference.

Some may disagree, but there is no real noticeable difference in performance between the two types. The only difference is that Platinum's will last significantly longer.

In fact, @RattyMcClelland may agree that for just caning it around, or a track slag, coppers or Iridiums may actually give better performance than the Platinum's.. :worms:

:pop:

No idea tbh.

Platinum plugs are the only realy ones you need since they will last along time but they are at a high price.
Coppers are super dooper cheap but they dont last as long.
Im currently using one stage colder coppers until i get my Lude tuned since the supercharger and larger injectors and no map will foul the plugs eventually. Using cheap plugs means i can afford to ruin them.
When tuned one step colder iridiums will be going in for longevity.

I have newish platinums that i fouled by simply idling with a very rough A/F ratio. Didnt take long.

I've installed NGK PZFR6F-11 in mine and they've been tip-top so far. They haven't been fouling when plodding round town and have seemed much better on the blasts to Singapore. They're rather expensive here but the long term value ( so far) outweighs the initial cost.

Brought these today for a bargain £5 from halfords. Are they any good? Will they be better than the Bosch super 4 I brought before? Cheers

There pretty much the same as the standard copper core NGK ones but with the extra electrode instead of a V grove in it lol, cant seem to think why they wouldn't work ok :)
I had Bosch super 4's in my fiesta which ran fine until the electrodes started to erode off, then it ran like crap

I wouldn't fit any plugs not designed to go in your H23 man! The thread pitch, length etc will all be wrong. You do NOT want to be fecking up the spark plug thread on the head!

Valid fitment guide here: http://www.lsengineers.co.uk/ngk-bkr6ek-spark-plug.html

Here's the 2.3 version of the ones I'm using - £5 a plug: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Denso-TT-Spar ... 0964304832
