Balancer shafts

Guys. Has anyone, or does anyone run there balancer shafts in there motor but not connected?? E.g. no belt? Cheers

Yeah I have for awhile now, haven't noticed any negative affects and recommend it :)

Cool. Im just thinking to leave the shafts in there but just not run them. I haven't the time, nor the budget to delete them. :evil: I personally don't see an issue, as there still there to retain oil pressure. BUT was just seeing other peoples reviews on doing so ;) :D :D :D

If anything it was a little rougher on tickover, but in my opinion it only made it feel more aggressive.. probably was all noise though.

I was wondering this too. If you're not saving any weight, are you really gaining enough HP to justify the extra wear and vibration?

Well what i was going to say is that really its weight the motor wont be turning and second its a belt and a tensioner i don't have to replace, keep cost to a min. But other than that that's probs it!!
