Well thanks to @thebusofwoe i have found one of the biggest problems with lude today , i took of the coolant pipe which goes from fast idle valve to thermostat housing an its completely rusted there was no hole at all so have managed to clean out as good as i can for moment as it was pissing down at dinner time but it now runs coolant thru an is getting hot so looks like my saturday will be cleaning and replacing all top pipes an trying to flush all crap out

if it aint broken your not driving it hard enough

Yay. We was right.
. Good job pal. Just as we thought. The water that came out of that pipe was pretty brown to say the least. Did you manage to sort that plunger thing out?? And is the valves/pipes getting hot now??

No was raining too much to get the plunger out so going to order some new coolant pipe an do it all at weekend but i never seen anything as blocked as that , i even had to put a screw in first to break it up before brown water came out
but the idle is even better now plus i think i understand how that plunger works as did a bit of reading up

Ok have cleaned out fast idle valve an got coolant to all top pipes only one left is heater matrix . The pipe on the right going into heater in bulk head is hot but the left one is hardly warm but this is the one that goes down to a valve that opens an shuts by the controls in car so do u need this valve as all it means is water can flow all the time thru matrix
As if i replace it with long hose back up under distributer an flush heater at same time it shud cover either way ?

But if thats the case how come it goes cold straight away as i thought it rerouted air from outside . Sorry if this seems stupid question but there wud still be hot water in heater even if that valve shuts it wud take a while to go cold so hence it must be able to have cold air without that under bonnet or am i being stupid here lol

If the valve is working, which it should be then its either a blocked matrix or an air lock!!

Couldnt get the pipes of so i took the one that goes from bulk head to engine off an put hose pipe in it an got completly covered with water when it filled up to quick
i cud see water comin thru engine from heater so put it back together an bleeded it again an hey presto i have more heat so looks like its a air block but its very warm now in car so one more bleed an i reckon it will be perfect . Plus still no bogging down so cud be cured
