Post by crigal.bb6 » Tue Jan 14, 2014 2:52 am

Hi people :). Im sorry about the nubey question in advance. Been to halfords and and local parts store and they are uncertian on the correct plug to use as it is a import. I have been wondering is there any differences at all? I have done a quick search and cant find anything much on this subject.
I have a 94 jdm bb4 with a h22a. I would want to use iridium type plugs from ngk as denso try to rape ur asshole if anyone knows the correct part number I would be greatfull?
Cheers.

They are exactly the same mate.

Part number is IZFR6F-11

Best price I could find is about £40. How much were they at Halfords?

For similar money you might consider Platinum's though..

THESE are listed for the Accord Type-R, but the part number is the same.

£29.80 delivered. About £10 cheaper than Platinum's. ;)

Thanks for your help. Cant believe how cheap they are.....
Ok I was also wrong to think that you cant buy denso iridium plugs for a decent price and ngk iridium plugs would be alot cheaper. The cheapest ngk's I found were slightly more than the ones in the link you posted. I managed to find denso iridium plugs (part number Ik20 5304) for £33 including postage which I think is a bargin so I have purchased them with a set of magnecore kv85 ht leads to finish off my serive :-). Hopefully I will notice a difference in smoothness and response with pretty much the two best products on the market feeding my engine with a spark. No more missing! Lol.

I dont really want platinums as I think the peformance of them will decrease alot quicker, platinum is less conductive than iridium and they cost more than the iridium plugs to buy for some unknown reason :?: . I think densos with the smallest electrode 0.4mm seem to be the best on the market in my price range anyway lol.

Heres the link if anyone is interested.

Sorry about the ZzZz nature of the thread people I just wanted to be sure. Dose anyone know if they are actually any better than other plugs??

Platinum's last around 60,000 miles while the iridium's only last 20,000 miles. You wont notice any performance difference between the two. I have iridium in my 5th gen and platinum in my 4th gen.

IMO get the NGK iridium or platinum as they are the factory option.

I thought the iridiums are longer lasting when abused. 9k rev limit and my driving they will not last 20000miles lol. Why am I allways wrong :( (dont believe the hype). I brought the denso iridiums because of the smaller electrode and they were cheaper also in the end lol. Opppppssss my bad!

If you have already bought them I wouldn't worry about it.
