I saw the Nardi wheel I want stripped into pieces on another listing, turns out underneath everything it's held to a boss made for an Impreza by 6 bolts with a 74mm PCD. So I have bought myself an early 90's Nardi wheel for the princely sum of £34.99 :) just need to get a boss sorted and I should have a new wheel in my 2G

Is this pretty much what im on about haha?
No that's a boss that's deigned to collapse in an accident not a snap off boss

Also make sure you get a Proper snap off boss from a known make as the cheap ones end up with more play in it then Nitin's arse. We had one of the slimline ones off ebay on the drift car and took it off as it was terrible, deffo wouldn't want one on a road car
Oh right something like this?

so i use the boss, then the snap off bit then the wheel on that lol i get it now haha! whats a fairly well priced good quality wheel then? I dont have tons of money but i want something half decent

Just out of interest, what's wrong with a 2nd hand Momo?

You can pick up a decent example for £50.

I have a fake as well. It is solid enough.

It's arrived today :)

A quick clean plus the addition of a boss and I reckon that'll look pretty good in the lude 8-)

I had to drill out 4 of 6 screws holding it on the boss as they're apparently made of butter  other than that it's all good, once the scooby boss is off you can offer the wheel up to any boss suitable for Nardi wheels. I haven't got around to buying a Prelude boss yet though, so I'll probably end up tucking this away in a cupboard with all the other car bits I have to fit

I did quickly mock it up in the car though - nothing technical, just held it up with my knees

I rekcon that would look OK in the golf. Just need to find one that's not worn too much (and not expensive)
