2.2vti Nighthawk black W-2000 plate H22a £1200 ONO

Post by gonzo5 » Sun Jan 19, 2014 12:32 pm

Hi all, worked out how to post pics so here we go again!

Honda Prelude 5th Gen, 2000 W plate.

2.2 H22a Red Top engine, 4 Wheel Steer, 200bhp, 5 Speed Manual

MOT November 2014 - they put it on as I bought - had a new CAT at the same time so emissions are on point.

Electric windows, heated electric mirrors, electric roof, heated seats, button adjustable cruise control, A/C
Ipod/mp3
All valet keys both original sets including both remote fobs

This has done 130k, however...its absolutely mint! I bought it off my mate, it was a third car for them for three years after my mate searched all over for this spec UK model. Its rare, and well loved! Must have been motorway mileage a lot, it is in such good condition!

Because of mileage I have just done the TIMING BELT/WATERPUMP/OIL/FILTER/COOLANT, I don't thrash it, I love this car!

Huge amount of service history, every detail ticked on all service sheets. Huge list of everything done it's entire life, most original Honda servicing. I bought it trusting them, never looked at it as I've known it for three years!
The clutch is tight, gearbox precise...fully converted, Honda's are amazing!

Interior is mint!! Nothing threadbare or worn, not even the gear gaiter, only giveaway is some wear on the leather steering wheel. All interior plastics and rests, belts etc etc are all spotless, no stains or gunk mashed in. AC icy.

The tires are all good, brakes have a lot of life left in them, all bulbs are good, my mate had the alloys done in anthracite grey. They look really smart against the nighthawk black. Only down sides are couple scuffs on front from long nose, and tax runs out this month :(

I would not be selling but I have finally got my Visa to emigrate to the US, my fiancee and I are marrying and I'm moving to California so sadly, the 'lude has to go. Visa has taken a year to get :( will be missed, someone look after it please!

£1200 ONO Sam: 07824 807027 - its had all the expensive bits done very recently! BA13 3XD

H22A8 is the engine code.

From the looks of it, you have that. That's a really good engine to start with. 200bhp engine (rep top) UKDM version.

IMO, start with the basic service etc. Once you've done that get a custom exhaust done (2.5" straight through).

Nice one! Same year and mileage as mine! Although mine has motegi bodykit, be sure to check your fuel pipes under plastic cover next to passenger side rear wheel, and check bottom bend on the fuel filler neck for corrosion. Just had to replace mine.
