Nitin, I've replied to your message. There are quite a few loopholes in the law regarding the display of number plates on imported vehicles.

This plate on my old 4th gen was perfectly legal! Sticker shows how long ago I had the lude!!

Sorry, I can't post a photo of the rear of my old lude without posting this one as well (this was the result of being on too many forums and them all moaning that I didn't have their forum sticker, and Ammo, being Ammo, made the PUK one twice the size of all the others!

@wurlycorner, no sorry my new plate is import size, 64mm lettering.. here is a UK square plate on my 'Lude when I first bought it, with big UK size letters:

much clearer now, good golly those UK sized letters are fugly crammed in there

I don 't think the butchered plate helped the look much either
