I have silver on my BB4 currently. It looks smart but it's not very exciting.... Mine will be going back to red again soon I think!

tbh I was thinking about classy silver or even black. Mugen kit especialy when I will install front bumper is enough much shiny flashy and calipers are nothing special to be extra exposed. What do you thinking?

Yep. Classy silver. Nothing too flashy since they are only brake calipers. Id rather people look at the car.
Gloss black or silver will look good. EvenJames Lude lover has pewter calipers which look great.

Mine are foliatec 2pac silver.

I think black or silver. Possibly at a push gold might work with the colour of your car also. I find bold colours on the brakes a bit boy racer and have been done to death, but that's just my opinion of course.

yip black or silver, unless you have massive expensive brakes i think they don't need anything to attract the eye, blend in the background is best for an oem caliper.
i have black wheels with a black standard caliper. paint wise caliper paint is crap and standard gloss/satin/matt black spray or if you go silver the 5 wheel steel/silver has excellent coverage and 1 can will cope with the whole set and its less than a fiver. doesn't discolour either.

its fine saying you want people to look at the car so paint em black but you also want people to notice details or else why bother
Plus it all helps with the nice mot man. The guy sees a car that has had a lot of time spent on it he is more likely to help you rather than hinder you, same with the plod. Most guys love cars and appreciate the work people put into them so if something is done well it creates an impression no matter the colour.
Unless of course its a chavvy corsa or chavic

So I probably go for satin or mat black. How about high temp hammerite? Old times my mate used standard hammerite on his crxs calipers and it was fine. From my experience there is no better stuff for rusty metal then hammerite

I find hammerite goes soft when hot. Just try normal caliper paint. Although hammerite should work fine.
