SS exhaust - recommendations please

Is it the same plm tri-y one? Condition, price, pics? Did you have it fitted to your car? Has it been modified?

With all the trouble these sound to have with fitting it and modifying it and ground clearance - not that my car has been lowered but evil speed bumps frickin' everywhere...well based on the shop price, postage and import taxes i was going to rob a few old ladies outside the bingo halls and pay topgear for the full custom job.

it has been fitted to alex's old 5g but you would need to notch the subframe from memory its in great condition having only a few thousand miles on it.
it hasn't been modified afaik I will drag it out the shed at the weekend or you can come have a look

That would be great mercutio, pm me a price and details where and when, i work 6 evenings, sleep late and wake even later so we'll have to work something out.

I was considering getting a custom downpipe from topgear stockport, sports cat and cat back system and leaving the stock manifold for now to get them to custom make the manifold when i save up some more. Thoughts on this?

well if you get the manifold from me you wont have to pay for a custom manifold buddy and I am free anytime you want to pop round

The question above about the custom manifold was because i was still not 100% on the hytech replica but seen pics of it on alex's prelude and trm already modified it, so as long as its not bent after his ouched rear end i'm pretty sure i'll take it.

to mercutio, just picked up the plm hytech replica header from him, previously installed on Alex's lovely silver rearended lude, great guy to deal with and his wife even made me a cup of tea after a 25 minute trip turned into a 2 hour park and smoke trip on the M60 cos some tosser without vtec crashed his nescafe can equipped corsa into an invisible 60foot lamp-post. Ok so most of that is my imagination gone wild but mercs wife sure makes a good cup of tea.

Hopefully get this badboy header on in the next week or two along with a custom catback from topgear stockport and my wheels can turn once more. Thanks for all those who gave advice and comments on this post.
