Ok please keep in mind I'm new to all this n you might think this is quite sad but I took the rear lights out came indoors cos it's dam cold outside, fitted the resistors I bought and put them back in the car keeping the resistor to metal so not a fire hazard.
Everything is back to normal working and indicating like it should :-) I know it's only a small job but if you could have seen the smile on my face when I'd done you'd have probably pissed your self laughing! Anyway thanks for the advice all working n I'm a happy chap. Cheers
