Post by indigolemon » Sat Mar 24, 2012 9:37 pm

Wrote this today after driving in fog. It seems many people are frankly morons, and need to be educated.

Enjoy!

I would probably go further than that.

Q. Do I need to turn on my foglights?
A. No.

In the eight years I've been driving, I've never felt the need to turn on my foglights.

But you can buy DTRLs from Halfords.

They look really good, and make your car faster too.
All it takes is a couple of nails, and they're like a permanant fixture on the car.

Don't remove the cable from one of your HID's to find a match for the plug they use, and then forget to put it back in the car, then drive in thick fog, and only realise on the drive home 8 hours later in the dark you had forgotten to put said cable back

Doh!

- Q3 - Can you see the car behind you in your mirrors?
YES - Turn off rear Foglight(s)
NO - Rear Foglight(s) may be used
THAT is one thing people learn. Also, when it's pouring with rain don't stick your rear fog light on.

Well, they really need to learn them all but that one annoys me more than most.
