I don't, private sale so not sure if it's been listed anywhere to be honest. Not seen it. Don't quote me on that mind! lol.
Hoping to go and look tomorrow night or Saturday night. see how it looks and go from there.
Finger crossed.
Thanks for the warm welcome though everyone, refreshing to see such an active forum, especially a little later in the evening.

This place is always active, never a dull moment
. Just check the obvious, you know, brakes, tyres, service history, general condition of engine bay/interior. The only thing that springs to mind is the rear arch/sill rot. Some 4th's/5th's rot there. I am sure others will have more advise, so you could build urself a nice little list

Haha, no not your fault mate, as said I guessed and can see why you might look at that profile. I have no idea when the generations ran etc. Need to look it up at some point.
Do the 5th if it is 5th have the same issue with the rot? Or not so bad?
I see a few comments of the later generation engines being bullet proof, but not sure if that's in relation to the 2ltr or the 2.2 VTec jobbies.

I personally have not much experience with that motor. As far as I know, it's a fantastic and reliable motor. All the engine variants are robust units, as long as they have been looked after. There are quite a few members on here with the 2ltr and are very happy with it. Yea some 5th's have the same problem. Just worth a check that's all.
