Got this fixed. In the end it was just a swap out of the old rubber high pressure hose for a new one. The old metal fuel line must have been removed by honda a few years ago when I had a fuel leak. Fairly easy in the end. Just remove one end from the fuel pump and the other from the fuel line down by the wheel, cut a new bit of rubber pipe, clamp it all up and good to go
(well apart from the power steering leak
, which is now fixed
