Which Engine Oil - And Why

I always used Castrol Magnatec 10w40 - for no other reason than a liked the TV adverts from years ago - brainwashed from an early age.

I use Millers CFS 5w40. It was one of the ones recommended by Opie Oils and the most expensive one I could afford

Very impressed with it, would recommend 8-)

I put 10w40 'fleet oil' in my Civic the other day, can't remember who made it. At £14 for 5 litres I wasn't complaining, especially as the engine needs a rebuild and is loosing oil like a mofo.
