Yeah it came up code twenty one for 4ws but no code for srs yet as didn't want to touch it. I've definitely located yellow blank yellow plug box it's part of a three or four way split with main wire flex wrapped in yellow insulating tape. If I'm right?

ok ill give it a bash man. as I am only using a piece of speaker wire would I be better to purchase one of them male connectors to make a proper short before attempting? or..... can I just have one end of wire inside connector as a constant and use second end as short per attempt?

since I now have a MANUAL!!! lude I shall re open my original advice request thread, I have established that bolt ons are easy and best for bit of flash look and that wee bit extra power gain but here is where I stand I have two ludes both 5th one automatic h22a5 with aem 2 short ram intake and japspeed stainless mani and free flow backbox. (stopped there after being told you cant really get any power out autos! haha)

and so is now my daily runner ie to the shops and back after work haha and the odd zip down a9 cos although its an auto it sounds incredible.

I also have now acquired the manual h22a8 red top totally standard so far, clutch was an issue until a new slave got bolted and bled happy days!! I am in process of giving it life through a badly needed service and electrical faults (last 2 pages of posts) but....

im in throws of stainless exhaust cat back (just need mani after) , ive acquired new k n N flat oem filter for time being until I source proper intake. im interested in tuning but have no idea whats involved. new ecu? etc
basically what im saying is what is next step after bolt ons?

Swapping the intake is a waste of money IMO, even more so now that you've invested in a K&N filter. Really, the OEM H22A8/TypeS intake will suffice unless you're chasing big numbers or get silly over a bit of noise.

Tuning you're gonna need an OBD1 ecu and harness. You can get everything you need (tuning wise) from H-Tune. Or you can get a chip off Rob (nucleustylzlude), but you're still gonna need a compatible ECU and harness.

Nothing wrong with changing it if you want, just don't expect mad gainz dawg.

The money can be spent better elsewhere and you will notice a bigger impact. e.g. better brakes, less time stopping = more time going.
