Coolant leak

Post by pbryant_knight » Mon Mar 17, 2014 6:06 pm

Well today i turned up to work to find that 30 minutes later a colleague said that there was coolant all under the front of the car in the car park. Sure enough, the radiator had lost a load of water.

Took it to the Garage and they said that the only thing that was wet was a transfer pipe from the Radiator. It was badly corroded and may not come out in which case, worst case scenario, i'd need a new Radiator.

Anyone know the best place to get one and how much they cost?

Peter

Do the Rover 600 rads fit 5th gens? I put on of these in my 4th gen.

Pretty sure they use the F type rad caps.

Your 5th will either have an F type rad cap if you have a Denso radiator or a D type rad cap if you have a Toyo radiator ;)
