Main problem on F20A4 engine in Preludes are rods, they are really thin compare to H22. On polish forum was a bloke who made about 170 bhp, he machined and ported head, custom made shaft, 4-2-1 ex. Manifold and H23 intake. Of corse he run on remaped P28 I think, but defo remaped. Unfortunetelly as I remeber correct shaft been made not in quality as it should and f $@k head and all job with head. Bloke gave up, never try to do this again.

I made 148 with stock exhaust 4-2-1 ex mani and H23 mani and Type S intake witk K&N. But to be honest, if I would put 2.25 straight decat exhaust and remap ot I belive I could get 160 easy.

But main problem.on F20 engines is to gain more torque, because torque is the thing to give you a "nice kick forward"

So, I gave up to digg in my F20A4 N/A and next thing it will be a soft charger project. Not high boost to leep engine on safe level 0.5-0.6 bar should hit 220-230bhp and nice tprque
ludes are ment to be driven, not wanking around on a stand like a Civic.

Hi Guys , good weathers here and Ive started looking at upgrading the lude, rear wing rust is shocking after the winter. However on the turbo front I still fancy getting it done as my ludes just hitting 75K so engines not to tired, can anyone point me in the right direction for a turbo, Rob suggested last year hunting it down piece by piece but Ive not seen anything as yet. ;)

have a look on preludepower or Honda tech they always have stuff for sale mostly civic or h22 stuff though I still have the h23/f22/f20 inlet manifold for sale ;)

You can make a head swap, from f20a4 soch to doch, it is possible. Then You can have all h23 manifolds. You can find information about it on internet.

You think f20a4 (soch) to f20a (doch) ?
Asking because I got the same plan. But F20a doch head is almost unreal to find
BB3 2.0 i 16V 133 Hp
