The 4th gen and ATR have a slightly larger clutch plate than 5th gen's. You could class it as an upgrade for a 5th gen  I have the ATR clutch kit in my 5th with my original flywheel.

If you have a good working clutch (and you know it was installed recently) I wouldn't bother with the hassle and cost of installing one. But... if you have a car with the original clutch in it swapping out the clutch and flywheel is a good shout 8-).

IMO the only bad thing about the Honda ATR clutch kit is that it does not come with the clutch alignment tool.

  Love a bit of chatter . I am not too worried about the alignment tool, we have our Honda special tool one, (which is actually crap :? ) 8-)

ATR OEM clutch is cheaper than the standard Prelude one! :D
Strange how that ends up. Same thing happened with one of my old cars. Was cheaper to buy things like RS plugs for my Focus ST, they were better plugs too.

FYI - When I had the Fidanza aluminium flywheel put in mine I never noticed a difference in how quickly the engine revs, which should be most noticeable in neutral as it is not having to push the gears and drivetrain. I think in my case it was only a few months after I put my original cat back in after removing my decat, it used to rev REALLY quickly with the decat! Just about to get a high-flow cat in the next week or so and hoping I will get some of that response back as it wasn't far off sportsbike levels.

That and if you've got H22A, it'll cope with the power better. I nearly lunched a standard Lude one whilst giving it berries   I told the garage to fit one from an ATR but they decided that they knew better
