Tbh your best bet would probably be to get a custom one made

Haha would need nine life's sticking that on the car!! Lol
Really? And it's been passable for mot?Thebusofwoe wrote:Tbh your best bet would probably be to get a custom one made
Well that was a main concern with eBay cos only a month away from mot and desperate to get cat back fitted before because one on when bought from previous owner is blowing all over the place from dodgy welds etc!!K30DPC wrote:I get one from egay. Passed my MOT with flying colours.

Yea. A custom exhaust specialist can make one and still be used for mot. However they are usually expensive

So go for it buddy. Mine failed on emision and MOT tester advised replacing cat as a first solution and eventualy lambda sensor if this doesn't help. After retest they advised writing a letter to council for lowered tax as my emision was close to nothing
When I seen certificate I started wondering did they atached sensor into my car or one standing next to mine with engine switched off.
This is the one I get
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151120254046? ... 1439.l2649
Bare in mind it's 2.5 inch in and out, but they have other options as well

What part of the emissions did it fail on?

Seriously though I'm very surprised I always assumed high flow cats would raise the emissions?
Looking at that ad I would need one with the flange fittings though cos every other part of my exhaust is bolt on flanges?
